Jerry Horst left today for a missions trip, and his e-mail gives us a brief overview so we can keep him covered in prayer:

Dear friends,

I am leaving this Wednesday morning at about 4 am for SE Asia and am sending you my attached itinerary in expectation that you will stand with us in prayer for God’s best in every facet of this trip.

Thanks so much for your support and friendship.

Kristin will be joining me in Mumbai for this trip. I am expecting Godto do great things in her life and speak to her about her future in ways she has never experienced before.

On the first Sunday, January 6th, I will be preaching in Manohar’s Church in Bangalore, and then two weeks later, Jan 20th at Cornerstone Church in Singapore. Immediately following the second service I will preach at another Church in Singapore. Monday evening I will be speaking at a dinner meeting with about 20 persons from the church who are executives and businessmen in the church.

Then Tuesday night, back at the Church, I will be speaking at a Marketplace Ministry meeting which is open to members of the Church.

In the two weeks between I will be in China looking into some business opportunities and buying furniture and materials for our new office building.

Please pray that our lives will deeply impact everyone we meet and that the Lord will lavish His spirit upon all. Please also pray for our family here at home, our sons at ORU, and the business operations in our absence. I always ask God to demonstrate His glory in our businesses so that they do better in my absence than when I am here.

I expect that I will be able to send and receive emails and would love to hear from you.

Thanks you so much for your prayers,

Jerry
