I appreciated the experience of the worship service this past Sunday as I visited. “Church of the Word” certainly is a good “label” for the congregation in that so much of the spoken message was quoting the Word of God, naturally and richly. I also noticed that the congregation seems very secure and the people are happy—also fruit of living in the richness of God’s Word. The teaching on walking in the Spirit was very practical and the whole message was full of many substantive points of truth.
I was blessed to be offered the opportunity to pray with people; I sensed a clear anointing present to hear the promptings of the Spirit in the prayer ministry with each person.
One of the purposes of my visit was to become more familiar with CWI itself as well as to be aware of the ways God is at work throughout our region. As I am involved with the vision of the Regional Church of Lancaster County, I have chosen this year to visit many congregations throughout the county to affirm our growing oneness for which Christ prayed and to be more keenly aware of what the Lord is doing in His people—and from here to other parts of the world.
