As many of you know, recently my Facebook page was deleted by Facebook. They’ve never explained why — in fact they’ve never responded to me at all. I created a new page, but honestly I have no reason to believe it will remain for very long — the work we are doing internationally influencing leaders and bringing Biblical principles to the process of government tends to make our communication vulnerable. Some people just don’t like us.
What to do?
I’ve spent alot of time redesigning our website which will give me a platform that we legally possess and can control. So in one way, what happened to my Facebook page was a blessing in disguise. Now I can present more of our vision and in a far more comprehensive way. I hope it blesses you.
Look around, and let me know what you think. There’s quite a bit there and I’ll be adding more all the time. On the blog (Flagship) there are opportunities to drop me a comment, and I’ll get it directly.
I know it will take a minute, but if you go to the very bottom of the home page and sign up it will throw out an email to you every time I add an article to the site. I’d be very honored if you keep what we are doing covered in prayer, and I’d really like to hear what God is doing in your life!
I’ve lost more than 3,800 contacts from Facebook. I’m happy I haven’t lost touch with you.
For the past two years I’ve had to be pretty quiet — which was and is necessary due to the nature of the assignment the Lord has given to me personally (apparently not quiet enough according to Facebook) .
It’s not that what I’m doing is so top secret, but rather it’s confidential. The meetings I’m having with government leaders, face to face, can’t be made public or those meetings and the level of trust and confidence they extend to me would be broken. I do hope you understand.
But many things are becoming public, which I can talk about; and to be honest, I feel it’s time to get loud about areas where Armada has picked up new opportunities and responsibilities. I need to share my heart and the word of the Lord with you in order to meet the challenges that lie ahead.
Many of them are urgent.
First, we are participating in a series of leadership Summits, including a very high profile forum with several hundred members and former members of Ukrainian government. We will teach the Biblical principles that undergird a nation’s government; and help promote a growing heart cry for a new constitution based on Godly principles. It’s literally nation changing!
And second, we have a challenge before us to mobilize thousands of Churches to raise up a new generation of leaders. (More than 10,000 in fact.) There is an amazing opportunity for the Church to shape every developing sector of society in Ukraine.
Finally, we are looking at ways to bless and minister to more than 500 volunteer Chaplains who are ministering on the front lines. About a week ago I received a phone call from one Chaplain who was in a firefight, the sounds of machine gun fire echoing in the background. I want to help these men, and God is directing us in specific ways. We are going to hold several seminars where they can gather, fill them up on the Word of God and the Spirit, and also bring in professional training for PTSD, as well as get them into medical training courses to help keep them alive.
All of this is being done in obedience to the word of the Lord, marshaling the resources and ministries of Armada strategically for maximum impact. To launch these efforts we need a larger financial base of consistent giving. To date, Teri and I have been financed for this journey by some key, private individuals. They’ve carried an important burden alone. Now, we see it is time and necessary to involve our partners. Prayerfully consider what you can do, and from the depths of my heart – thank you for your part in this ministry!
I’m heading back this Thursday — it means alot to me to know you are praying for me and the work. Do keep my wife and family in prayer as well. You are such a blessing to us!
And yea, email me at any time at email@example.com
Jesus is Lord!
